Talking Hands Talking Feet offers a versatile range of programs for a wide variety of needs and circumstances:

2008-2009 School Programs:
Acequia Madre Elementary

- 3rd & 4th grade performances March 26th 9:00 am & 6:30 pm

Kaleidoscope! Multi-Age 6-12

Winter classes: January 23rd - March 20th 2009 4:00 - 5:00 pm. $108 - 9 week session.

Thai stick dancing, rhythm/throw sticks, percussion, movement, story theater, engaging songs, coordination games, laughter and fun.

'Make a Music Video' Ages 6 & up
Children will be part of creating a professional Talking Hands Talking Feet Video and will be on You Tube! 3 session series- Times TBA

Boom Boom Orchestra Ages 3-5
Winter classes: January 24th - March 21st 2009

$108 - 9 week session- Saturdays 10:30 - 11:15 am
Vital learning, versatility training & confidence development through an engaging music & dance curriculum which is fun and educational, featuring Talking Hands Talking Feet award winning original music, multi-rhythmic work, original songs, story dances, musical suites & dance choreography.

Spectrum Guitar Training Ages 12-18
The Spectrum method includes:
*Fundamentals
- Learn to play right away!
- Learn picking & strumming patterns
- Learn open chords, melody & bass line
- Learn bar chords
- Learn to tune your guitar/ care for your guitar

*You bring your favorite music (on CD or MP3 file) I'll teach you how to play it!
*Music theory & notation
- Learn to read the staff w/chord & melody lines
- Learn to read the staff w/strumming & rhythm patterns
- Learn to read the staff w/finger picking patterns
- Learn to write in musical notation language

*Improvisation training - learning to jam.
*Song composition - lyrics & melody line w/ supporting rhythm guitar.
*Music composition - Mozart look out! We will be writing music from the start.
*Recording your own songs - here at Humming Grove Studio.
*World of guitar exploration- guitar styles from around the world.

$45/45 minute sessions. Ages 12-18 No experience necessary

Ongoing Workshops:

Talking Hands Talking Feet offers ongoing workshops on a weekly basis which take place in a specially designed ecology. Parent participation is super encouraged, for the younger children, because it enriches and enhances the whole experience. On top of that, parents get a lot of valuable training in the process.

School Programs:

Elementary School Curriculum Based Performing Arts Programs- including such themes as: Human Body School, Math-a-Magic, Earth Day, Seasons of New Mexico and America (multi-cultural exploration).

Integrated music and dance assist and enhance learning ability. Talking Hands Talking Feet helps to magnify & expand thematic units through this versatile media.

Special Programs:

Talking Hands Talking Feet offers music and dance workshops for a variety of situations such as: Summer camps / Fairs / Music & Dance Festivals / after school youth programs / Special Ceremonies & Fundraising Events.

Interactive Performances:

There are so many good reasons to perform:
- To bring the joy of dance and music to those in Assisted Living, Hospice or Hospital.
- To bring humor, story and song to children's hospitals.
- To help inspire and raise awareness for the inestimable value of the arts in the lives and education of children.
- To foster cross pollination of diverse cultural backgrounds towards greater care, value, respect and understanding between peoples.
- To educate through entertainment!
